Otto's Sales Manager Position

Otto's Ottawa is currently seeking a creative, savvy, outgoing and energetic Sales Manager.

We are looking for a creative automotive Sales Manager who will be responsible for adding value to all sales processes, achieving vehicle sales targets and profit objectives, while ensuring that customers are treated in a style that maintains Otto's position as a leader in the provision of luxury automobiles.


Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Forecast goals and objectives for the department
• Administer the annual operating budget to meet goals and objectives set both internally as well as at the corporate level
• Work closely with other department managers to ensure collaboration and teamwork throughout the dealership in delivering products that stand for the Otto's    quality name
• Direct and schedule the activities of all department employees both on and off-site
• Help salespeople close deals when necessary
• Ensure that every customer talks to a manager before leaving the dealership
• Assist in developing programs of improvement for those salespeople who are failing to reach their objectives
• Assist in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions
• Ensure there is follow up on all leads and increase ROI on online marketing
• Other duties as assigned


Expectations for this position:

• Experience with one-eighty and Reynolds and Reynolds, Trade Rev an asset
• Valid driver's license
• Professional personal appearance
• OMVIC license required
• 2 years automotive sales management experience required
• Excellent communication and managerial skills
• Demonstrate self-assurance, self-confidence and a strong desire to work in a demanding atmosphere
• Ability to create team players, with strong aptitude for logical thinking, detailed problem solving skills
